The Los Angeles Lakers added a solid veteran in Avery Bradley in free agency. Here are five reasons he will be an impact player for the Lakers.

After getting spurned by Kawhi Leonard, the Los Angeles Lakers immediately went to work and filled out their roster with a cluster of solid to good role players and complementary players. Avery Bradley was the latest of that group of guys to sign with the purple and gold

On the night of July 5, the L.A. Clippers pulled off a coup d’etat by signing Kawhi Leonard and trading for Paul George, giving them what appears to be a championship-caliber team. The interwebs have fallen head-over-heels in love with their roster, which is understandable, but they are selling the Lakers short at the same time.

Face the music, Clippers fans: the Lakers also have a championship-caliber roster, and both teams will likely be neck-and-neck all season long with Western Conference supremacy.

One of the reasons why is veteran guard Avery Bradley – a signing that I personally was pining for once they started filling out their roster on the morning of July 6.

After instantly agreeing to terms with Danny Green, they acquired Quinn Cook and DeMarcus Cousins, to go along with Jared Dudley and Troy Daniels, who both signed earlier on, as well as well as bringing back incumbents Rajon Rondo, Alex Caruso, JaVale McGee and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. But it still looked as if the Lakers still looked a little weak in the backcourt.

There are several reasons why Bradley will probably solve the Lakers’ remaining issues and holes at the guard spot.
