With the NBA Schedule being released for the Los Angeles Lakers, they will have a nice start to the season with some easy opponents.

Now that the NBA Schedule has been officially released, the Los Angeles Lakers will know what the season will look like.

One of the notable changes from this schedule compared to last season is how it starts. The Lakers were tested right away to start the season, as they faced a lot of playoff teams from the season prior early on.

For the Lakers, they didn’t have the same continuity of those teams, and they did get off to a sluggish start. However, the Lakers bounced back and were a pretty good team before the injury to LeBron James on Christmas.

This season, the Lakers will once again have a lot of new faces. Chemistry will be something that the Lakers have to work on early in the season, as many of their players were not on the team last season.

Fortunately, the start of their schedule is pretty easy this season. In the first two months, the Lakers will only play eight out of 19 games against teams that made the playoffs last season.

This is certainly a good break for the Lakers, as they will be able to build some continuity against teams that aren’t that good. While the first 19 games project to be fairly easy, the Lakers will be tested right out of the gate.

In the first two games of the season, the Lakers will play a highly anticipated matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers as the road team. Then, the Lakers will have their home-opener against the Utah Jazz.

For the Lakers, getting off to a good start this season can really set a positive tone for the whole year. After what was a disappointing season last year, the Lakers certainly don’t want any of the dysfunction that surrounded the franchise to carry over.

Hopefully, a strong start against some weak opponents will help the Lakers grow as a team. As we saw in the Western Conference last season, every game matters.
