Los Angeles Lakers: Top 4 Performances from the 2018-19 Season
Despite the woes of the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2018-19 campaign, there were still some notable performances that managed to stand above the rest. We picked out the four best moments of the season.
Every year as basketball and Los Angeles Lakers fans, we witness monster games put on by some of the league’s biggest stars and superstars.
Kobe Bryant‘s 81 point game against the Toronto Raptors. Wilt Chamberlain‘s 100 point game against the New York Knicks, or maybe Michael Jordan‘s 69 point game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Ordinary players will put up their ordinary numbers but the stars often times find a way to channel their inner MJ to put on a performance that makes us proud to be basketball fans.
In a season where we saw James Harden go on an absolutely incredible 30-point streak for the Houston Rockets and Russell Westbrook put up a 20-20-20 game for the Oklahoma City Thunder, we were truly gifted yet again with another great season filled with incredible performances.
Though the Los Angeles Lakers didn’t have the best roster in the league in terms of individual talent, there were still plenty of players who at least for one night managed to channel their inner greatness to wow the crowd with an incredible performance.
Obviously, these games didn’t lead to the end of season results that the Lakers had hoped for, but they were exciting to watch none the less.
Even though most fans are firmly looking toward the upcoming season and the excitement it will ultimately bring, it is nice to go back and remember the moments that brought us to this point.
These are the top four performances from the 2018-19 season.
