Goal 1: Shoot 40 percent or better from deep

One of the glaring weaknesses for the Lakers was shooting from beyond the arc last year. Over the past few seasons, the Lakers have been a poor three-point shooting team. While they had a chance to address it after they signed LeBron last summer, they decided to go in a different direction.

However, this summer, the Lakers did not mess around when it came to improving their shooting from beyond the arc. Green highlights the players that they got that will help bring the Lakers out of the cellar in the three-point shooting department.

For his career, Green is a 40.4 percent shooter from three-point range. Considering that he averages 9.2 attempts per game over the course of his career, that is a very impressive number.

Prior to being traded to the Raptors, Green did slip a tad from beyond the arc. However, he shot it at a ridiculous 45 percent clip last season. Green was one of the best shooters in the league last season, and the Lakers will be happy to have him there.

While 45 percent might not be a realistic number again, he should be able to shoot it at a strong percentage again.
