With the 2019-20 season closing in for the Los Angeles Lakers, here are three goals for Avery Bradley in his first season with the team.

It was certainly an exciting summer for the Los Angeles Lakers. After freeing up the cap space necessary to be big players, the Lakers were one of the more active teams in free agency this summer.

While the ultimate goal might have been to pair Anthony Davis and LeBron James with Kawhi Leonard, they still did a nice job filling out the roster around their two stars, after Leonard signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.

One of the players that they brought in was Avery Bradley. Many Lakers fans know Bradley from his time with the Boston Celtics, but he has bounced around a bit since then.

When Bradley was having some of his best seasons in Boston, he was playing at point guard. This was a position that the Lakers needed to address after losing Lonzo Ball in the Davis trade.

While Bradley isn’t a traditional point guard like Ball is, he is still capable of producing at a high level at the position. As a point guard, Bradley won’t really be running the offense, as he will fit nicely next to a ball-dominate player like James.

What Bradley will provide at the position is an ability to slow down the opposing point guards. Since Bradley isn’t the tallest guard, he is better suited to be successful on defense guarding point guards compared to shooting guards.

Since this will be Bradley’s first season in Los Angeles, he will certainly want to make a strong impression. Here are three goals for Bradley this coming season.
