The Los Angeles Lakers will finally again be contenders this season. Let’s predict what stats their key players will put up.

The Los Angeles Lakers roster consists of multiple tiers. Above all and in tier one is where LeBron James and Anthony Davis would reside. LBJ and AD serve as arguably the league’s most lethal dynamic duo and as a result, are the clear “top dogs” on the Lakers roster.

Tier One:

Anthony Davis
LeBron James

Tier Two:

In tier two, the Lakers hold some nice pieces to complement James and Davis in Kyle Kuzma, JaVale McGee and Danny Green. These three guys will be among the pool of players that will have the most likely chance of beginning and finishing games for the Lakers this season. Each piece within the second tier plays key roles in how the purple and gold will perform this season.

Tier Three:

Tier three is exceptionally wide-ranged and although some of these Lakers players will have a compelling impact on the team’s performance this season, others may wind up being left completely out of the rotation. Tier three consists of Avery Bradley, Rajon Rondo, Quinn Cook, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Each member of the third tier has a chance to fill a spot in the starting five, while most, if not all of them will likely come off the bench.

The remaining roster spots on the Lakers are filled-out by guys like Alex CarusoTroy Daniels, Talen Horton-Tucker and Jared Dudley, with some two-way contract players competing for minutes, too. This group of guys don’t make up a legitimate tier on the Los Angeles Lakers roster but shouldn’t looked-over. Towards the end of last season, Alex Caruso proved that he’s a legitimate back-up point guard in this league. Troy Daniels may be relied on heavily for his sharp-shooting, and Kostas Antetokounmpo and Talen Horton-Tucker are going to be working towards improvement night and day.

The entire Lakers nation is still waiting patiently to see which players will fill out the remaining roster spots, who may very well end up being significant pieces in determining the team’s success.

Each of the players presented in tiers one, two, and three for the Lakers will be contributing in their own unique ways. But many Lakers fans will want to know the statistical value that each of these guys will actually end up contributing. So, here are the strategic predictions of what each Lakers player’s stat-lines will wind up being.
