Kyle Kuzma has put in work this off-season to become a more complete player on the court and there are five areas that will show this season and help the Los Angeles Lakers chase a title.

This upcoming season, Kyle Kuzma is slated to be the third scoring option for the Los Angeles Lakers behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Kuzma has shown tremendous growth in his two years in the NBA and has shown to be an excellent draft selection and considered a steal at No. 27 in the 2017 draft.

His promise led the Lakers to put a tremendous amount of faith in him and make him off-limits in any Davis trade with New Orleans. Instead, they shipped off Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball, along with some draft picks. Now, Kuzma gets to show why that gamble can pay off for the Lakers.

We have seen many videos of Kuzma working on his game this offseason and his drive and commitment to helping the team win will pay huge dividends for this franchise not only this season but also in the future. He will be eligible for an extension shortly, so this is his time to step up and show that he could be a vital third piece next to two superstars.

We will go in-depth on how Kuzma can improve his game and areas he needs to work on in training camp and preseason to show his value to this team.

While there are many bright spots, there are also glaring weaknesses. But at his age, he has the upside to improve on each of these and be a contributor now and a long term complement to Davis when James decides to call it a career.
