1. Danny Green

Danny Green had quite the debut in the purple and gold. Green entered the Los Angeles Lakers record books with his performance against the Clippers.

Green had the most points in a Lakers debut in franchise history, scoring 28 points. A majority of those points came in the third quarter when he knocked down six 3-pointers, including a four-point play to get the crowd into a frenzy.

Green’s LA debut was a prototypical game. He knocked down 3-pointers, added seven rebounds and got it done defensively with two steals and one block. The Long Island product was tasked with defending Kawhi Leonard at times during the game and did an admirable job attempting to slow down his buddy.

Tonight, Green will have his hands full once again defending either Mike Conley or Donovan Mitchell. Depending on if the lineup is switched, Green will most likely be tasked with slowing down Mitchell.

If he can knock down a few 3-pointers again and keep Mitchell from having an efficient night, the Lakers should come away with their first victory of the season.
