Recent Lakers rumors are that Andre Iguodala is a lock to come to Los Angeles if he’s bought out, according to NBA executives.

With the Los Angeles Lakers riding a six-game winning streak, there haven’t been a ton of Lakers rumors going around.

The hot start for Los Angeles is certainly very encouraging, as they have been winning games with rotation players missing time. While the hot start to the season is great to see, the Lakers have much bigger goals than just a nice winning streak.

For the Lakers, this a team that wants to win an NBA Championship. The front office did a great job setting the roster up this offseason, as the duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis looks great.

However, the Lakers likely won’t sit on their hands for the rest of the season with the roster looking good. They will likely try to improve it.

One of the top names that has been linked to the Lakers is Andre Iguodala. After being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies, Iguodala never reported, and it will likely just be a matter of time before he is bought out.

Recently, David Aldridge of The Athletic asked some NBA executives about where Iguodala would go if he was bought out. Of the executives that answered, all said the Lakers according to Aldridge. You can read the entire article from Aldridge with a paid subscription to The Athletic here.

With his connections to Rob Pelinka and the Lakers being successful, it should come as no surprise that Iguodala and the Lakers would be linked together. Iguodala certainly just wants to win at this point in his career, and the Lakers look like they will be able to provide him with that opportunity.
