With the Los Angeles Lakers starting off the season on a strong note, one minor concern as of now has to be the shoulder of Anthony Davis.

With 10 games almost in the books, the Los Angeles Lakers are sporting one of the best records in the NBA at 7-2. There were a lot of expectations for the Lakers this season after a big offseason, and they are living up to that hype.

However, one concern for the Lakers has to be the shoulder of Anthony Davis. In their most recent loss to the Toronto Raptors, Davis was clearly playing through some noticeable pain.

Since being drafted, Davis has had the reputation of having minor injuries force him to miss time. In the NBA nowadays, there is a ton of talk and controversy surrounding load management, especially about Kawhi Leonard.

However, Davis does appear like he has something bothering him with his shoulder, and it is something that the Lakers must be careful of.

Davis has certainly lived up to the hype in Los Angeles, as he has been great on the offensive end of the court, and is also positioning himself to be a front-runner for the Defensive Player of the Year. However, the Lakers have much bigger goals than just a strong start to the season. This Lakers team wants to win a ring.

In order for the Lakers to achieve their ultimate goal, they need Davis healthy. That is something that he doesn’t appear to be right now. While the Clippers have taken some heat for resting Leonard already this season, Davis does appear to have an actual injury to his shoulder. While some might not like to hear it, a game off here and there might do the shoulder some good for Davis.
