The Los Angeles Lakers have been on fire to start the season, and most of it has been due to LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but who has been the third-best player?

After a 6-1 start to the regular season, the Los Angeles Lakers are rolling and are seemingly improving every game. Obviously their success has been spearheaded by the play of the two-headed monster known as LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but the team’s role players have also been essential in this hot start.

Kyle Kuzma was expected to be the third go-to player on the team after being the only part of the young core that was held onto. However, he is still struggling to catch his footing after missing the start of the regular season due to stress reaction injury suffered from his time with Team USA during training camp.

As a result, the void of the third team’s third-best player has been filled by a number of different players.  So far, that void has been filled by Avery Bradley, Danny Green, and Dwight Howard, who have each made positive contributions.

These three have been defending at a high level, and hitting the shots they are most capable of making, whether it be the open three for Green and Bradley, or putbacks and alley-oops for Howard.

But out of these three, who exactly has played well enough to earn the title of the Laker’s third-best player? We’re gonna lay out the case for three potential candidates, and let you decide.
