After a loss to the Toronto Raptors, the Los Angeles Lakers bounced back with a nice win on the road against the Phoenix Suns.
Just a few days removed from having their winning streak snapped by the Toronto Raptors, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to get back in the win column against the Phoenix Suns.
Over the past few seasons, the Suns have been one of the worst teams in the league. However, it is clear this season that the Suns are going to be a much better team. Some of the young talent that they have acquired over the years is starting to really develop.
The Suns came out pretty hot to start this game, as they held a lead over the Lakers after the first quarter. However, the Lakers were able to rebound in the second quarter, with some improved play on the offensive end of the court.
After a pretty even third quarter, the Lakers were finally able to have some success on the defensive end of the court. The Suns were held to just 23 points in the final period, as the Lakers really amped up their defensive intensity in the final quarter.
This was a nice win for the Lakers on the road. The Suns are clearly not going to be a layup this season, as they can really shoot the ball well from beyond the arc. With the Lakers back in the win column, here are three takeaways from the game against the Suns.
