The Los Angeles Lakers played a depleted Golden State Warriors team on Wednesday night. If the Warriors dynasty wasn’t over before, LeBron James ended it for good. Lake Show Life breaks down the game with Lake Show Life Lessons!

Stop us if you haven’t seen a post-game report with the Los Angeles Lakers playing the Golden State Warriors on Lake Show Life in the last six weeks. After playing the Warriors four times in the preseason out of six games, most Lakers fans were happy just not for the regular season to start, but to see another team.

The Los Angeles Lakers welcomed basically a star-depleted Warriors team into the Staples Center where the wins and losses actually count. A couple of things were taken out of this game. One, those blowouts weren’t flukes and two, the Golden State Warriors dynasty is over. There is a new number one team in California and it is now the Los Angeles Lakers.

Breaking News to Lake Show Life: LeBron James is thrilled!

After losing three NBA Finals, which included injuries to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, the addition of Kevin Durant to the Warriors super team and J.R. Smith‘s timeout, it’s over. The wicked witch is finally dead.

James can breathe again like Toni Braxton, as he led the Lakers to a 120-94 stomping at Staples Center. The Lakers were without Anthony Davis, who wisely sat out with shoulder and rib injuries. They didn’t need him as they steamrolled what was left of the Warriors dynasty.

The game was over from the tip. JaVale McGee had a layup from an alley-oop pass from LeBron seconds into the game. That seems to be another play NBA teams struggle to stop along with the pick and roll. The Lakers soon after went on a 12-0 run that included six points from LeBron.

When the first quarter ended the Lakers shot a whopping 70 percent and made five 3-pointers.  The Lakers, for the most part, had been plagued with slow starts all season long. That wasn’t the case against the defenseless Warriors. Their 38 points tied a season-high for points in a quarter.

Frank Vogel is a defensive coach, but he has preached ball movement on offense this season. For the last three games, the offense has been flowing.

Most of it is attributed the LeBron James leading the NBA in assists. But the trickle-down effect is evident. The Lakers had 31 assists in the game. The last game at Phoenix, they tallied 39 assists. That total was the franchise’s most since April 14, 2009. On Sunday, they collected 31 in a loss against Toronto.

Here’s how they are doing it. You know what they say, film doesn’t lie.

The game showed no more than what the Warriors and the rest of the NBA already know. The Warriors era is over and this is a different team. D’Angelo Russell and Draymond Green are All-Stars, but both looked like those contract extensions were mistakes.

In short, the Lakers are just better. Let’s get to Lake Show Life Lessons.
