Los Angeles Lakers look impressive in victory against Atlanta Hawks

On Sunday night, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to get an easy victory at home against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Los Angeles Lakers were able to handle their business on Sunday night against the Atlanta Hawks, in one of their best overall games of the season.

In the previous game, the Lakers might not have taken the Sacramento Kings as seriously as they should have to start the game. With the slow start, the Lakers had to fight tooth and nail in order to secure the victory.

Against the Hawks, the Lakers jumped them early and never looked back. With a hot start to the game on the defensive end, the Lakers were up double-figures right away, and they never looked back.

While the Lakers got off to a great start in the first quarter, it was in the second when they really pulled away. The great defense in that quarter resulted in the Hawks scoring just 17 points.

For the Lakers, it was a great performance by LeBron James. So far this season, James has been playing fantastic, and he had another great game against the Hawks. In the win, James totaled 33 points 10 assists and seven rebounds. James going 6-of-10 from 3-point range is a great indication that he was just simply in the zone tonight.

In addition to James, the Lakers received another good game from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on Sunday. Caldwell-Pope had a strong finish to the game against the Kings, and he carried that into the game against the Hawks. KCP finished with 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting. With Bradley out, KCP has been getting the starting nod for the Lakers. Hopefully, he can keep us this solid play of late.

The Lakers are now 11-2 on the season and proving that they are one of the best teams in the league. Next up with be a home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. With another strong defensive showing like in the beginning of the game against the Hawks, the Lakers should be able to get a win against the Thunder.
