Los Angeles Lakers: 3 Lessons from the win over Oklahoma City Thunder
By Ronald Agers
The Los Angeles Lakers tend to enjoy allowing less talented teams to stick around longer then they should. A Rajon Rondo incident could have easily blown things for the Lakers. Lake Show Life breaks down the incident, game and immense Lakers talent in Lake Show Life Lessons!
This type of game takes you back to what Golden State Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr used to say during the dynasty years. To win in the NBA, you must have talent. The Los Angeles Lakers have talent and they have a ton of it.
The Lakers showed evidence of that in the second game of a short back to back series with the Oklahoma City Thunder. On Tuesday, the Lake Show allowed the Thunder to stick around before KCP put the game to bed. On Friday, it took LeBron James auditioning for a Los Angeles Rams free safety spot to close this game out.

The OKC Thunder did not make this easy, but the Los Angeles Lakers got out-of-town with a six game winning streak beating the Oklahoma City Thunder for the second time in four days winning 130-27 to start the road trip.
Rajon Rondo owes the superstars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis dinner and the rest of the franchise an apology. For the second time in as many seasons, he allows his emotions to get the best of him against a team with Chris Paul on the roster. Last year, he gets into a fight with Chris Paul in “Spitgate”. This year he gets himself tossed kicking Dennis Schroder in the groin drawing a flagrant 2 foul.
Oh, we’re Draymond Green now? This type of behavior is what drives a wedge between fans on if the Lakers need Rondo or not. Let’s ask Green how constant plays like this did for the Warriors in 2016. Rajon is smart enough to know LeBron was there, maybe he’ll ask him.. Count on a suspension (Like again!) from the NBA to Rondo thanks to calling the referee that threw him out a name that should be embedded instead of out of the open. Based on his history, it just shows how dumb this behavior is.
The Los Angeles Lakers are in a great position to win the NBA title this year. That takes focus. Rajon Rondo’s antics need to be handled by the leaders in the locker room, coaching staff and the front office. He has to do better.
Let’s get to players who were actually focused and closed the game out for the Los Angeles Lakers. Lake Show Life Lessons starts now. Let’s check with the superstars to see if it’s okay to start with them.
Cool, let’s get to it.
