The Los Angeles Lakers have hit a rich vein of form to start the season, but during this period, some of the team’s flaws have been visible.

To say the Los Angeles Lakers have been a joy to watch to start the season would be an understatement. Whether it is a half-court lob from LeBronJames to JaVale McGee, Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard swatting away every shot that comes into the paint, or the team as a whole being locked in on the defensive end, they have played well.

Watching every player on the roster play with enthusiasm, heart, and willingness to put in a shift on defense has been extremely encouraging. This is the sort of Laker team we have waited for.

After many years of mediocrity and lottery nights, the Lakers are now ready to make a run for a title, and as Lakers fans, let us hope this is the start of a bright future.

While the purple and gold have done wonderfully in many respects, some of the flaws have been glaring. While it is perfectly okay for this to occur early on in the season, if these mistakes were to continue into the playoffs, the Lakers might get exposed by teams that have done their homework.

While the season is still young and the Lakers have plenty of time to fix these mistakes. They must fix them before the playoffs to have the best chance at winning an NBA Championship. Here are three areas the Lakers’ can improve upon in order to get to the NBA finals.
