3.) The Laker role players need to step up
The Laker role players have been pretty up and down in terms of performance and overall contributions to the team. Avery Bradley had been one of the more consistent players for the team but has been sidelined due to injury for the past couple of weeks.
Dwight Howard was another success story to begin the season but has since regressed, committing bad fouls, and showing a lack of hustle on both ends of the floor.
For as good as the duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James have been, the Lakers simply need more from their role players, especially Kyle Kuzma, who has been struggling to find his footing since returning from injury.
The Denver Nuggets are very much a win by committee team, due to the fact that they so many offensive weapons at their disposal, and are one of the best teams at sharing the ball amongst all of them.
For the Lakers to come out with a victory, their role players are going to have to match the Nugget’s level of offensive production, or at the very least, limit that production with smart defense, and constant communication.
