With the Los Angeles Lakers set to take on the Utah Jazz in the second half of a back to back, here’s the three keys to victory for the purple and gold.

The Los Angeles Lakers managed to bounce back from a loss against the Dallas Mavericks and win on the road against the Denver Nuggets last night on the back of solid defense, and great performances from both their stars and role players. The team has now strengthened their grip on the top of the Western Conference with an 18-3 record.

For the team’s next challenge, they’ll be heading into Salt Lake City to take on Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz on the second night of a back to back. The Jazz have been one of the best defenses in the league thanks in large part to reigning DPOY Rudy Gobert, so it looks like Anthony Davis is going to have his work cut out for him.

In addition the team signed Bojan Bogdanovic in free agency, and traded for Mike Conley, both of whom have completely re-vamped a somewhat stagnant Jazz offense.

On the injury front, the Jazz have listed Mike Conley as questionable with a hamstring injury he sustained during Monday’s game against the 76ers. For the Lakers, Avery Bradley is still working his way back from his foot injury, but other than that, everyone else is expected to be ready for tonight’s matchup.

Interestingly enough, LeBron James mentioned during last night’s post-game interview that a number of Laker players have been getting sick, so it would appear that flu season has hit the Lakers.

Regardless, the team has a tough matchup against the Jazz ahead of them, so they need to stock up on the Tylenol and take note of these three keys to victory.
