The Los Angeles Lakers started another win streak blowing the Utah Jazz off their home floor. Lake Show Life breaks the game down (or festivities!) in Lake Show Life Lessons!

It’s times like these when NBA writers, bloggers, radio hosts, podcasters and TV personalities get exposed as to if they are actually paying attention to the Los Angeles Lakers or are they just looking at the schedules to make “hot takes” for clicks and clout. If you have been following Lake Show Life, you will realize that we pay attention.

The Los Angeles Lakers really do have a different set of rules when they sit at the top of the mountain. Nothing’s ever good enough. After rolling the competition in November, the so-called experts brought out the list of pitfalls for the Lakers.

  • Things will change in December, the Los Angeles Lakers have their toughest month of the season.
  • The Lakers will surely will crash and burn on the road against legitimate playoff competition.
  • After the Dallas Mavericks whipped them Sunday, the Lakers won’t win back-to-back games in two of the toughest arenas in the NBA. In Denver with the altitude? The crowd noise in Utah? Won’t happen.
  • Plus half the team has flu-like symptoms? Somebody call Vegas!

Does anyone have that old tweet from the Lakers social media department warning the NBA? They all deserve raises because it’s no longer a secret. This team is a collection of talent with bad intentions.

Denver’s altitude is a problem within itself and with flu-like symptoms, the Lakers still found a way to shut them out in crunch time. If that wasn’t enough, the Lakers put on a comedy act in Utah blowing out the Jazz 121-96.

The Lakers story can be summed up with a simple play by Dwight Howard.

Dwight Howard actually knocked down a 3-point shot in the left corner looking like Steph Curry. You can all now break out the Ben Simmons jokes!

Lake Show Life realizes that most fans can only get the Lakers games on the local cable channel, Spectrum SportsNet. But a word of advice. If you can ever stream the other team’s broadcast during a blowout, DO IT! It can be some of the most hilarious commentary you ever want to hear.

Craig Bolerjack and Matt Harpring sounded like they needed therapy after the thorough butt-whipping the Jazz took. These two were upset. Matt Harpring compared Howard to Dennis Rodman running down the court after hitting that shot from distance.

Here’s where the announcers lost it. Kyle Kuzma, who’s defense has been to be kind “suspect” turned into “Kuzma Mutumbo” throwing shots back left and right. Check out the sound!

LeBron James antics brought out jokes all around Twitter as the Lakers partied on the sideline.

They are right though, this isn’t playground ball. This was a “Rucker League” or “Drew League” beat down. LeBron James had already given his shoes to fans and was dancing on the floor in his socks. It’s been a long time since that Walt Frazier criticism last year.

Everyone that touched the floor scored with ease. The game was over after a huge run in the first quarter and the Jazz got very intimidated. This wasn’t even close. Outside of the opening preseason game against the Golden State Warriors maybe, this was the most complete blowout the Lakers have had this season.

Well, the Los Angeles Lakers are 19-3 and the so-called “experts” are still holding their breath.

Let’s get to Lake Show Life Lessons!
