Rob Pelinka added three of the best bargain contracts in the association to the Los Angeles Lakers roster during the offseason.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis rightfully get most of the credit for the Los Angeles Lakers hot start to the 2019-2020 season.  LBJ and AD have mutated into the league’s most fearsome duo much quicker than even the most optimistic Lakers fans could have hoped for.

If the Lakers continue to walk all over the rest of the league, and eventually win a championship in June, it will be primarily because of LeBron’s offensive heroics and “The Brows” defensive prowess.

However, no championship squad can win the ultimate prize without reliable role players who contribute on a nightly basis throughout the season, and who also come up huge during big moments in the playoffs.

This current Lakers squad has four players -LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Danny Green, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope– who take up almost all of the Purple and Gold’s cap space. Luckily for folks in LA, Rob Pelinka was able to fill out the rest of the roster with excellent athletes on cheap contracts.

The 2019-2020 Los Angeles Lakers have the three best value-priced players in the NBA.
