With the season underway, The Los Angeles Lakers have been as good as advertised. While the season is still new, Frank Vogel and co. should have a close eye on who they believe will be in the playoff rotation. Here is an early view of who will make the 9-man rotation.

The Los Angeles Lakers are a good team! It has been many a year since most fans of the purple and gold have been able to utter the above sentence.

Credit must be given to the coaching staff in which Rob Pelinka assembled. Head coach Frank Vogel and his assistants Jason Kidd and Lionel Hollins deserve a ton of credit for installing a defensive-minded culture to the Lakers which has seen the Lakers rise into the top 5 defenses in the NBA.

This is a huge turnaround from previous seasons and long may it continue.

A lot of the praise can be heaped upon the likes of LeBron James and Anthony Davis who have been MVP candidates to start the season.

LeBron has turned back the clock and once again looks like one of the best players in the world again. While Giannis is still the current MVP and looks odds on to retain his MVP crown, never rule out the King.

After trading away the likes of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and numerous picks, the expectations placed upon Anthony Davis’ shoulders were huge. Needless to say, Davis has lived up to the hype and then some.

If the Lakers continue to play as well as they have played then playoff basketball is evitable. This is a welcome change to being a lottery team for the last number of years post Kobe Bryant.

With that said, here is what the 9 man rotation the Lakers should bring into the playoffs should look like.
