With one of the best records in the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers have had a great start to the season. Here are three players who have exceeded expectations in the first quarter of the season.
The Los Angeles Lakers are officially a quarter of the way through the season already, and things could not be going better for the franchise.
This offseason, the Lakers went through a lot of change. In the front office, Rob Pelinka is now running the show completely after the surprise resignation of Magic Johnson. The Lakers also went on to change coaches, as they brought in Frank Vogel after parting ways with Luke Walton.
The changes in the front office and on the bench have both worked out really well so far this season. It wasn’t too long ago when the Lakers looked like a dysfunctional mess. Now, they have one of the best records in the NBA.
With the great start to the season has come some great play from the guys on the court. The duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis has proved to be one of the best in the league. Both of them at playing at an MVP level, and teams are really having a hard time stopping them both.
While those two are living up to their expectations, the Lakers do have a few players on the roster who are exceeded expectations. Getting guys to play at an elevated level has resulted in the Lakers being deep and successful.
