Continue to play his veterans role

Jared Dudley has never been a star in this league. But he’s never tried to be, he’s always been himself which is the ultimate professional. He knows how to play his role on the court and in the locker room.

He simply is a leader, he doesn’t have the most talent but he knows basketball. One day you will see Dudley on a sideline as a coach. He is the perfect teammate and at some point, there will be frustrations in Los Angeles and he will know how to ride the storm.

He can take DNP’s for 10 straight games and then all of a sudden get called upon to play 30 minutes. He’s always ready for any action and knows his number may not be called most nights.

That doesn’t stop him from being himself, as he’s always on the bench celebrating. He also helps out the younger guys as they navigate their way through the NBA. Every team has a glue guy and when stuff boils over the Lakers will be glad they signed Dudley this offseason.
