With the New Year almost here, here are three New Year’s resolutions for Los Angeles Lakers big man, Anthony Davis.

As the Los Angeles Lakers get ready for the New Year, they have to be pleased with how the first part of the 2019-20 season has gone.

Over the summer, the Lakers made a big move to acquire Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans. The price to acquire a superstar like Davis was not cheap, as the Lakers sent multiple first-round picks and most of their young core to New Orleans. For just one player, many thought that it was too steep of a price.

However, the Lakers hold the best record in the Western Conference with Davis on the team, and he and LeBron James have become great friends. Their chemistry on the court is quite apparent.

The goal for the Lakers was to always get two superstars on the roster. With James and Davis, the Lakers have done just that. As we head into 2020, the Lakers will be hoping to not only snap their playoff drought, but to make a deep run in the playoffs.

In order to achieve those goals, they will need to continue to get strong production from Davis. So far, he has lived up to the billing of a superstar in Los Angeles. However, there is a lot of season to be played, and the Lakers know from last year how quickly things can go south.

With the New Year nearly upon us, here are three New Year’s resolutions for Anthony Davis.
