With Anthony Davis and LeBron James playing at an MVP level, the Los Angeles Lakers are firing on all cylinders to start the season. While this is fantastic, there is always room for them to get better. With that said here are 3 ways the Lakers can improve going into 2020.

The Los Angeles Lakers have exceeded even the highest  expectations set upon them so far this season. They top the West with the best record in the conference and are playing a beautiful brand of basketball that has all of Lakers Nation forgetting about the difficult times of last year.

If you had told Lakers Nation that the Los Angeles Lakers would be top of NBA standings and in the top 10 in both offense and defense they might have looked at you funny. Not anymore.

Credit must go to general manager Rob Pelinka for putting together this Lakers roster. He has added depth to areas of the Lakers squad which were once weaknesses and has made them a strength. Credit must also go to Coach Frank Vogel, Jason Kidd, Lionel Hollins, and Phil Handy. The Lakers have gone from inconsistent play with Luke Walton to professionalism, consistency, and excellence with Coach Vogel and company.

On the court, LeBron James and Anthony Davis have pushed the Lakers to heights not seen since the days of Kobe Bryant, Paul Gasol, and Lamar Odom. The level of chemistry the Lakers have shown early on in the season bodes extremely well for the Lakers potential playoff hopes.

While everything is good for the purple and gold right now, there are areas in which the Lakers can improve upon. It will be important for the Lakers to make these adjustments if they intend to make a deep playoff run.

Here are 3 ways the Lakers can improve going into 2020.
