Los Angeles Lakers: LeBron, Avery Bradley, AD eclipse Suns, 3 lessons
By Ronald Agers
LeBron James bailed the Los Angeles Lakers from one of the more embarrassing losses in recent memory.
I thought LeBron’s birthday party was a couple of days ago? For the first half, especially the first quarter, LeBron James was the emcee to a party with about 17,000 of his closest friends in the Staples Center.
The Los Angeles Lakers were surgically dismantling the Suns with LeBron setting the table for his teammates while doing damage himself. At halftime, he almost had a triple double with 10 points, 10 assists and 6 rebounds.

LeBron James continued his strong play and finished the game with 30-points, 12-assist and 13-rebounds. Yet another triple-double. Only this one was different, the Lakers needed these numbers. The sad thing is, the Lakers needed these numbers.
James had to come back into the game and close out a game that should have been in the bag by halftime. What’s funny about social media is the comments that are made and WHEN they are made.
This tweet was sent out when the game was believed to be over. For the record, LeBron only scored eight points in the 4th quarter. What’s the point here? The Lakers scored 16. Bottom line, when the wheels were falling off, LeBron kept the Lakers on the tracks.
