The Los Angeles Lakers are an unbelievable start so far this season and look to be one of the leading title contenders in the NBA. The LeBron James and Anthony Davis pairing has been as good (or better) than anyone could have expected. However, not every Laker has lived up to expectations.

Thanks to the nearly unstoppable duo that is LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Los Angeles Lakers have raced ahead to an early lead in the Western Conference. Frank Vogel and co. have been able to get the max out of most guys on their new roster. Avery Bradley was a ball-hawk prior to his injury, Alex Caruso continues to show that he belongs on an NBA roster, and even Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has come out of his shell after a sluggish start.

Despite the strong start, a few players on the Lakers’ roster have yet to master their roles within the rotation. With the Los Angeles Lakers smelling a championship this season, they will need everybody to step up in one way or another. General Manager Rob Pelinka made it a point to acquire outside shooting after a flawed roster was unable to get the job done from behind the arc last season.

With the 2019-20 season nearing the end of the first trimester, let’s look at the most three most disappointing Lakers so far this season, as well as what can be done to turn their poor season around. Is Frank Vogel not putting guys in the proper spots to succeed or is it something else?
