Los Angeles Lakers: Three shooting guard trade candidates

With trade deadline looming in February, here are three shooting guards the Los Angeles Lakers should consider trading for.
Following a hot start to the season, the Los Angeles Lakers have been in a bit of funk, losing their last four games, but they have since bounced back to win their last three. Even though a lot of thought was given into constructing this roster, there are some glaring weaknesses that will only become exacerbated come playoff time.
The most glaring of which is the team’s lack of a reliable third scorer, which in turn is affecting their bench production. Kyle Kuzma was thought to be that player coming into the season, but a combination of injuries, and issues on the defensive end have limited Kuzma’s effectiveness on the court. With capable shot creator at the forward spots, in LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the team should turn their attention to the guard position.
Danny Green is the team’s starting two guard, and that shouldn’t change. He is still a knock down shooter and an elite perimeter defender. But he simply can’t create his own shot, or run pick and roll, which are two things the team desperately needs from their guards.
Since the Lakers don’t start a traditional point guard, they are in a unique position to make a move for another two guard without compromising their starting five.
With that in mind, here are three shooting guards the Lakers should consider trading for.
