LeBron James is better than Russell Westbrook and James Harden. Let’s put that narrative away for good.

Lake Show Life reported that Harden and Westbrook both scored 30 points. So did LeBron James. Both scored more points than LeBron. Do you want to know why?

LeBron not only finished with 31 points,12 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals, he ran the team so efficiently that three other Lakers finished with more than 20 points. The Rockets highest scorer behind the Houston’s duo was 13 points.

LeBron James came out with a mission in this game. He knew deep down that he didn’t play well in the previous loss. It didn’t happen in this game.

He found the perfect balance of looking for his own offense overpowering James Harden on the fast break here.

He was also setting his teammates up for easy baskets just shredding the Rockets interior defense in the pick and roll. Clint Capela is basically the only real line of rim protection for the Rockets. Just take a look how far out of position he is while the pass was so quick, there was no rotation from Russell Westbrook.

Lake Show Life often accused LeBron James last year of not playing winning basketball and chasing statistics to hide poor play at times. This year, there is no evidence of that narrative. Not only did he get his numbers, he seemed to play in cohesion with all of his teammates. His leadership was the reason why the Lakers were so dominant in this game even without their other superstar in Anthony Davis.
