Los Angeles Lakers: Areas in which the Lakers key role players can improve
The Los Angeles Lakers have started the year on fire, with the likes of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard playing extremely well. What can some of the other role players do to put the Lakers in an even better position to win?
For all fans of the Los Angeles Lakers, this season has warmed our collective hearts. After years of mediocrity, losing and heartbreak, the Lakers are finally back on the right path. Led by superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, this Lakers team has the potential to be something special this season.
With LeBron James stepping up his game as the quarterback of the Lakers offense and Anthony Davis being the commander in chief of the defense, the Lakers are primed for a strong second half of the season.
While the team seems to be clicking together extremely well, some of the role players within the Lakers have been hit and miss throughout the years.

With all that said, knowing that this team can be a contender should give these players the added motivation to step their game up.
With championship or bust aspirations, consistency will be key from all members of the squad. While it is unfair to expect the same level of excellence as LeBron James and Anthony Davis, raising the level of play of each player should be of utmost importance.
Each member of this Lakers squad has shown at some point in the season that they are capable of being contributors to this team in a meaningful way. If you can get everyone on the same page and playing with intensity and heart each night then you will have an extremely dangerous group of players.
With that being said, here are areas in which each role player on the Lakers should and can improve upon.
