Finally, before you go. Give me your finest Kobe Bryant moment.
Scoop B. Robinson:
"I have a good relationship with his father, Joe Bryant. He and I go back to 2014 when we met at a basketball program that we both worked at in 2014 in Dallas, Texas. We created a bond. I’m praying for him, Kobe’s mom, Pam Bryant and for Kobe’s wife, Vanessa. During my time as a radio host at CBS Radio, Joe Bryant called me and asked me to be on my show and we and he had a great discussion. I’ve learned a lot about Kobe through my interactions with his dad. But I’ve also gotten to know Kobe. My fondest memory of Kobe personally was when we discussed going out on top. like Peyton Manning did. I asked him if he regretted not winning a championship to close his career like Peyton did in his career as a member of the Denver Broncos. Kobe told me that most people don’t win one championship; and he won five. He’s right. I’m going to miss Kobe Bryant a lot. My three favorite memories on the court was when he played at Rucker Park in Harlem, he won the 1997 NBA Slam Dunk contest and when he scored 60 points against the Utah Jazz in 2016. My college, Eastern University is literally down the street from Lower Merion High School. I used to go to Lower Merion games and I heard legendary stories of Kobe. He’s a legend."
Wow. It’s an amazing coincidence Scoop brings up the Slam Dunk contest 23 years to the day yesterday that Kobe Bryant won it in 1997.

But true ballers play everywhere. Kobe Bryant earned his nickname “Lord of the Rings” when he took his talents to New York in the summer to play in Rucker Park after the three=peat back in 2002.
Kevin Durant played in 2011 and showed out. LeBron? Are you coming?
Now that the Lakers struck out in getting Andre Iguodala, Robert Covington and Marcus Morris, it’s imperative the team gets someone who can score the basketball. If J.R.Smith doesn’t work out, names like Jamal Crawford needs to be looked at. Lake Show Life already covered his positives for the Lakers last year.
Lake Show Life will be the one-stop-shop for Lakers rumors in the coming days. Many features are coming soon. Keep it locked.
