– Lakers win

In the first matchup, the Bucks came out on top of the Lakers by a score of 111-104. The Lakers have taken a lot of pride in not losing two in a row and not losing to the same team twice. The Lakers are already 0-2 against the Los Angeles Clippers and they certainly don’t want to be 0-2 against the Milwaukee Bucks as well.

If the Lakers were to lose this game, the narrative would instantly become that the Lakers can’t beat the elite teams in the NBA. The Lakers will certainly look to avoid having those distractions hanging over their head, as this is arguably the biggest stretch of the season for the Lakers.

When looking back at the first game between these two teams, the Lakers can definitely beat the best team in the East. In that game, Giannis had a great performance, as he was hitting his shots from deep. Giannis going 5-for-8 from 3-point range likely won’t happen again.

In addition to Giannis having a great shooting night from the floor, Anthony Davis did not. Davis went 0-for-6 on his 3-point attempts and shot just 11-for-25 from the field overall. If Davis plays better and Giannis shoots a bit more toward his normal, the Lakers can easily get this win.
