– Get healthy

Throughout the season, the Lakers have dealt with their fair share of minor injuries. As we saw last season, one injury could result in the Lakers going from a playoff team to a lottery pick. The injury that LeBron James suffered on Christmas last season resulted in the Lakers essentially having their season ended.

Luckily, the Lakers haven’t had the major injury like we saw happen to James last season, but they have had their fair share of nagging injuries throughout the season. So far this season, the Lakers have played 63 games. Like most of the league, most players on the Lakers have missed time for one reason or another. Only Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has played every game for the Lakers this season, which is pretty remarkable.

Of the major players on the Lakers, Anthony Davis has missed 8 games, LeBron James has missed 3, Avery Bradley has missed 14, and Kyle Kuzma has missed 9. As of late, James has been dealing with a nagging groin issue. Considering it was his groin that caused him to miss so much time, getting a break for him right now isn’t awful.

If the NBA season resumes, the Lakers will be very healthy, and a healthy LeBron could win a title.
