Los Angeles Lakers: LeBron James passes the time by watching highlights
By Nick Ziegler
With the NBA season being suspended, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is also looking to find ways to kill the time.
In his second season with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James has been having a great season. While he was playing very well in his first season with the Lakers, that was unfortunately cut short due to injury.
When James went down for the Lakers last season, it ended all chances of them being able to reach the playoffs. The young core around him wasn’t ready to step up quite yet without James, and the Lakers crumbled.
After arguably the most disappointing season of his career, James and the Lakers have bounced back in a big way this season. James is playing at an MVP level on both ends of the court, and the Lakers have been in first place in the West for almost the entire season.
With the NBA being suspended, players like LeBron are trying to find ways to pass the time. Recently, James shared a video of himself watching old highlights from his days in Miami with Dwyane Wade.
The combination of Wade and LeBron will go down as one of the best duos of all-time. The team in Miami was great and changed the landscape of the NBA. Stars joining forces to win rings became the norm after James, Wade, and Bosh joined forces in Miami, as most knew it would take more than one star player to beat them consistently.
While the Wade and LeBron duo was very exciting, the LeBron and Anthony Davis duo might be even better. Davis is having a fantastic year with James and is arguably even better than Wade compared to when Wade and James played together.
The combination of Wade and James won two titles together in Miami. With Davis, James has the potential to do that once again. However, we will have to wait a bit longer than we hoped due to the coronavirus.
