The Los Angeles Lakers parted ways with sharpshooter Troy Daniels. They waited and bided their time and decided upon former Miami Heat shooting guard Dion Waiters as his replacement. What can Dion Waiters bring to the table especially come playoff time?

The Los Angeles Lakers, so far this season, have been as good as advertised. With superstars like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, you are in with a good shot of being successful.

LeBron is back to his sparkling best. Dishing out dimes like Magic Johnson, pulling up from way downtown like Stephen Curry and being the leader the Los Angeles Lakers need him to be. Anthony Davis has also been all Lakers fans dreamed he would be.

Davis has dominated on both ends of the floor this season, looking like a lock to be Defensive Player of the Year. Davis has shut down anyone the NBA has thrown at him. With highlight-reel blocks, pocket-picking steals and a laser focus, Davis has proven to be an extremely shrewd piece of business for General Manager Rob Pelinka.

With Davis and LeBron playing so well, it covers up a lot of holes that might go unseen due to their stellar play. The Lakers have decided to fill in one of these holes by parting ways with shooting guard Troy Daniels and filling that roster spot with former Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters.

While Waiters yet to play a game for the purple and gold, we have yet to see what he can do as of yet. But going off of his production elsewhere, we have a fair idea of what he can bring to the table.
