1. Offense

Showcasing their dominant defense hasn’t been the only thing the Lakers have done. They also possess one of the best offenses in basketball. Which was expected when the team traded for AD to pair with LeBron.

The team ranks seventh in the NBA at 114.3 points per game. If you add in their defense at 106.9 points. They’re boasting a game average of +7.4, this is one of the best in the league. As mentioned here before the season, the Lakers had the ability to be a top-five unit on both ends.

They also lead the league shooting as a team. They’re at an astronomical 48.5 percent, as guys are having some of the most efficient seasons of their career. LeBron leads the league in assists by a wide margin and after a slow start, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been amazing.

The team is dominating on both ends and was doing it into the suspension against contenders. So all the talk that they were beating up on lower-tier teams and losing to contenders went out the window.

Grading the team as a whole, they definitely come out with an A. They will have to come out of the suspension if the season resumes and display those abilities again. With the chemistry that they have, I don’t see that being an issue on either end of the floor.
