As we wait for the NBA season to resume, here are three reasons why Danny Green will be key to helping the Los Angeles Lakers win a championship.

With the NBA currently being suspended due to the coronavirus, we are all anxiously waiting for the season to resume for the Los Angeles Lakers.

For the Lakers, the suspension comes with them sitting as the No.1 seed in the Western Conference. With the best record in the West, the Lakers are a true title contender this season.

The main reason for the success of the Lakers was the fantastic offseason that they had. The Lakers started the offseason off with a bang, as they finally got a deal done with the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis.

The deal with the Pelicans might have cost a lot, but it is certainly proving to be worth it. After the Lakers traded for Davis, they made some moves to have enough cap space to sign Kawhi Leonard. Adding Leonard to a team with LeBron James and Davis would have resulted in the Lakers having the best trio the league has ever seen.

However, the Lakers were beat out for Leonard by the Los Angeles Clippers. The front office of the Lakers did a great job with their backup plan, as they filled out the roster around James and Davis with some good role players. Most notably for the Lakers was the addition of Danny Green.

With the hope that the season will resume soon, here are three reasons why Green can help the Lakers win a championship.
