The Los Angeles Lakers’ newest superstar has been everything the team could have asked for and more. His impact is being felt both on offense and defense. Which games have been his best so far in a Lakers jersey?

When Rob Pelinka and the Los Angeles Lakers completed the deal this past offseason bringing all-star big Anthony Davis to town, many outsiders felt that the team overpaid. LeBron James and Rob Pelinka felt otherwise.

They were confident that he would be capable of impacting the game in ways that Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, and Josh Hart never would have been able to. So far this season, they were absolutely correct.

Anthony Davis has become a consistent go-to scorer while dominating on defense. According to ESPN.com, Davis is currently ranked second in the NBA in blocks and ninth in scoring.

Where he can be most productive is at the free-throw line, where he has made just shy of 85 percent on the season. When Anthony Davis is on the floor it appears as if there is not a weakness to his game.

With the league currently at a standstill due to COVID-19, fans need to sit back and appreciate his body of work so far this season. Hopefully, Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers can get back to work sooner rather than later.

With the recent success the team has found following impressive wins against the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers, the Lakers have their eyes set on banner 17. Until then, we take a look at the three best games of Anthony Davis’ young Lakers career.
