The Los Angeles Lakers waived DeMarcus Cousins in order to bring in former Pistons forward Markieff Morris. With interest from Cousins and the Lakers in reuniting in the summer, what could a healthy Boogie, AD and LeBron do together?

During the free agency period in the summer of 2019, the Los Angeles Lakers had their eyes firmly fixed on landing superstar forward Kawhi Leonard in free agency. Rumors began circulating that Kawhi was in talks to join the newly acquired Anthony Davis and LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers. The purple and gold spent a significant amount of the opening days of free agency waiting for Kawhi to make his mind up.

Well… Kawhi made his mind up and he did come to L.A!… but to the LA Clippers.

With so much time gone by and numerous free agents off the board, the Lakers were left trying to assemble a roster with the remaining free agents on the market.

With the Lakers currently atop of the Western Conference, it is fair to say that they did a good job with their plan B.

One of the more exciting free agency acquisitions was former All NBA performer DeMarcus Cousins.

Before his unfortunate recent injury history, it was fair to say that Boogie was one of the premier centers in the NBA.

The excitement was palpable for Lakersnation when Cousins himself posted a picture of his dramatic weight loss.

With a trimmer and fully healthy DeMarcus Cousins, minds raced at the thought of what Cousins, Davis, and LeBron could do together.

However, the excitement was dashed when during a pick-up game in Las Vegas, Cousins clashed knees with a fellow player and tore the ACL in his right knee with Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN confirming what Lakers fans had feared.

According to a video posted on Talkbasket.net, Cousins is on the mend.

With Cousins making strides in his recovery and the Lakers and Boogie both interested in a reunion in the not too distant future, it begs the question, what could a healthy Boogie Cousins, Anthony Davis and LeBron James do together?
