Los Angeles Lakers way-too-early draft target: Jordan Nwora, SF, Louisville
Jordan Nwora is another example of a college prospect that has multiple years of experience under their belt that could be a great asset to the Los Angeles Lakers. Nwora might not be a senior, but he has two extra years of development under his belt and should come in and instantly make an impact in the NBA.

Nwora has started two seasons with the Louisville Cardinals and would be another great fit for the Los Angeles Lakers’ puzzle. While the team might seem a bit redundant at the forward position, Nwora has the skill set that would mesh perfectly with LeBron James.
Nwora’s best trait in college has been his shooting. Everything from getting off-ball separation from the way he sets his feet, Nwora has the shooting stroke to automatically be successful in the NBA.
Nwora’s biggest drawback, and the thing that ultimately makes him a late first-round target, is that he is not that athletic, in NBA terms. He is rarely going to beat players off the dribble and is not going to be some blazing threat in the fastbreak.
However, by utilizing him with proper off-ball movement and screens, the Lakers can utilize Nwora’s best traits and create a reliable off-ball shooter. Anything more than that would just be gravy.
It is not a surefire thing that Nwora is going to be in the draft, however, as he could forego the draft and play his senior season at Louisville. But if he does enter the draft then he should undoubtedly be on the Los Angeles Lakers’ radar.
