2. Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies could have upwards of $50 million to spend this off-season with a strong core of young players in Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. in tow. Memphis would be a lot better suited to keep their bullets for the 2021 free agency class, but if Anthony Davis expresses interest, they would obviously opt to change their plans.

Davis likely would prefer the Lakers to the Grizzlies anyways because the Lakers are a win-now situation, but if the Grizzlies made some moves similar to the Clippers (bringing in Paul George to entice Kawhi), they could be a major player.

They have the financial flexibility and the young core that will make some NBA star want to play there, but that star most likely will not be Anthony Davis barring some unforeseen changes in the NBA landscape.

The Grizzlies also do not have any picks of their own as their first-rounder will be going to the Boston Celtics. This means they can enter into free agency with no additional cap to be mindful of.
