The NBA playoffs currently have a great deal of uncertainty surrounding them, but there still is hope from the league office and commissioner Adam Silver that the season will continue — at least the playoffs.

At the moment, the most likely course of action for the season’s return would be to completely end the regular season and forego the final 15 games and just jump right to the playoffs.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in the midst of their return to prominence behind the leadership of LeBron James and Anthony Davis in what would be a true shame to watch end.

According to Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka and head coach Frank Vogel, the Lakers are studying potential playoff opponents as if the season will return and the team will play the postseason out (h/t Bleacher Report).

The current roster is solid from top to bottom and is built excellently for a regular-season run. Now, it is time to look at who belongs on the postseason roster.

Not everyone belongs in the Los Angeles Lakers’ playoff rotation.

Typically, playoff teams will only keep about seven or eight men in their rotation with the stars and top-tier supporting cast members picking up more slack than usual. Outside of their ‘Big Two’, the Lakers have a great supplement of role players that can and should lead them for a deep playoff run in 2020.

There are players on the roster who will not play in the playoffs despite playing in the regular season. We decided to take a look at three players who should get pushed out of the playoff rotation.
