Los Angeles Lakers: LeBron James’ best games of the 2019-2020 season
LeBron James has had some fantastic games for the Los Angeles Lakers this season.
LeBron James has been at the top of the basketball universe for over a decade now, but after last season’s injury and with the Los Angeles Lakers missing the playoffs, the whispers were starting to spread about the #WashedKing.
The 2019-20 season would be LeBron’s 17th year in the league, and even someone with LeBron’s intense recovery routine and commitment to excellence couldn’t outrun Father Time forever.
With time not on his side and a whole slew of fresh faces and young talent popping up all over the league, it wasn’t too far-fetched to ask the question: did LeBron still have enough left to bring a title to LA?
Thankfully for Laker fans, the hopes of the haters were quickly dashed as the Lakers raced out to the top of the Western Conference with King James leading the charge. Before the season was suspended, LeBron was having yet another stellar year, showing no signs of the wear and tear that had people concerned in the offseason.
With the addition of Anthony Davis and a whole new supporting cast, LeBron came into the season as determined as ever to win another ring and add to his basketball legacy. The year will come when LeBron will have to pass the torch to a younger generation, but it wouldn’t be this time around.
Today, we rank his top five performances of the season so far.
