Two questions have largely followed LeBron and the Lakers this year, the first being whether LeBron has made a strong enough case to win his first MVP in seven years over current favorite Giannis Antetokounmpo.

As the debate started to heat up during a stretch in February in which the Lakers would go 9-1, James staked his claim to the award during their next game against the Greek Freak.

LeBron has always been able to turn it up a level against the best competition, and nobody had played better basketball than the Bucks so far this season.

The King posted 37 points, including 12-15 from the stripe, to go with eight rebounds and eight assists as the Lakers took care of business in what may have been a preview of the Finals.
