Kyle Kuzma has an up-and-down 2019-20 season for the Los Angeles Lakers. We take a look at his three best games of the season.

Kyle Kuzma was kept as the third option for the Los Angeles Lakers when they struck a deal for Anthony Davis. It was their hope that he would continue to blossom and grow his game for the franchise. But injuries and inconsistency led many to believe they made the wrong decision choosing him over Brandon Ingram.

Ingram became an all star in his first season in New Orleans. He has flourished his game and worked on weaknesses. Leading the media to believe he could land a max level deal and an All NBA selection could be in play.

Kuzma on the other hand has the talent. His rookie year he displayed it before hitting a sophomore slump. He worked on his defense and his ball handling skills and looked poised to take that next step.

It’s easy to show that progress in workout videos and on paper. It’s another thing to display it on the court for millions of eyes to see on the biggest stage. The word ‘consistency’ needs to start chiming in Kuzma’s head, because without him it will be hard for the Lakers to rely on a lot with LeBron James or AD off the court.

As of right now the team has to stagger their two superstars for any production to happen on the court. The team has the spacing to allow guys to get to their spots, but not a guy who can come in off the bench and keep the offense clicking.

Kuzma has all the tools, but there is a clock for this team. We will take a look at three games that give fans optimism.

If Kuzma can play like this on a regular basis this team will be in business.
