3. November 13 vs Golden State Warriors

The Lakers handled the Warriors on November 13, 2019 at home. Routing them 120-94 and not having much trouble from the start getting into form. With AD sitting this one out, Kuzma got the opportunity to be the second option and he delivered.

On the night Kyle hit 7-15 shots including 3-6 from 3-point range. He looked smooth in all facets of the game and carried over his good shooting from the night before. In Phoenix the prior night he was 9-16 from the floor and also 3-6 from 3-point range.

It is stretches like this that have the Lakers having some glimmer of hope that Kuzma can turn the corner of consistency. On the night against the Warriors he scored 22 points and had an efficient night. He led all qualified players with a 75.1 TS% and 70.8 eFG%.

He was good on offense and defense as he posted a 124 offensive rating and 101 defensive rating. That’s good for a +23 outing. The team was also +21 with him on the floor as he played the most minutes at 30:15.
