The NBA season is truly up in the air. All it will take is one player to catching COVID-19 again and the season will be over. The margin for error has never been slimmer. With the season on a knives edge, maybe its time to dish out the end of season awards. Will any member of the Los Angeles Lakers take home an award?

As NBA fans, we hope that the season continues. The hope is to see all of our favorite stars don their team’s jersey and hit the court once again and bring smiles and memories to every fan.

Whether that is with or without fans in the arena is irrelevant.

The ideal scenario is for the season to resume, for all games to be played and for the finals to take place as per usual. As fans, that’s all we want, is for things to go back to normal.

If any further setbacks in regards to COVID-10 occur, the NBA season is likely to be scrapped to protect the players, staff, and everyone involved behind the scenes.

No life should be lost in the name of entertainment.

If the season were to be called off today, there are sufficient enough games played to give out some awards.

There have been some fantastic basketball played by a lot of players this season and they deserve to be recognized.

Here is the “Potentially Premature”  End of Season NBA Awards; will the Los Angeles Lakers represent?
