The delayed 2019-2020 NBA season presents the Los Angeles Lakers’ best chance of winning the title.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in the driver’s seat if the 2020 NBA season were to resume from its current hiatus. The Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference, the second-best in the league behind the Milwaukee Bucks, and made the biggest statement before the league was put on hold by beating the Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers on back-to-back nights.

Here are the three reasons why the Los Angeles Lakers’ title odds will shrink next season, making this season even more important.
