The Los Angeles Lakers had some memorable games this season.

There’s good news and bad news. The good news is that the NBA seems like it has reached an agreement to restart the season in July in an isolated Disney World. The bad news is that there have been no NBA games for over 80 days, and the postseason will now be played in a quarantined bubble-like environment.

It seems like the NBA suspended its season eons ago, but even in a quarantined brain fog, no one can forget the amazing regular season the Los Angeles Lakers had this year. In case the memory is not as fresh it should be, this is a reminder of the 10 best regular games the Lakers played in 2019-20.

From an early season overtime thriller to their last two wins against top competition, these games give a great snapshot of this past regular season. This season is the first one in ages that the Lakers organization and its fans can truly be proud of, but thankfully it is not over yet.

These 10 games give a look at the team that can still contend for a title when and if the postseason does take place. On March 11th, the Lakers were destined to enter the playoffs as the number one seed in the Western Conference for the first time since the 2009-10 season.

The decision to trade the talented youth that the Lakers had harvested in the decade prior, proved to be a wise decision. The addition of Anthony Davis coupled with LeBron James created a duo that Lakers fans are used to seeing and is comparable to the likes of Magic and Kareem or Kobe and Shaq.

This tremendous Lakers season will go down in history for its emotional ups and downs, and the unprecedented stoppage in the middle of the season. However, it should also be remembered because the Lakers put together one of their best regular seasons ever, their .778 win-percentage is good enough to be the fifth-best in franchise history.
