The Los Angeles Lakers have more title advantages than some may realize.

The Los Angeles Lakers are going to get a chance to finish what they started in the 2019-20 season when the season resumes at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, on July 31st. The Lakers are chasing championship number 17 and even if they don’t win it now, at least the team can have closure with the season resuming.

However, the Lakers are not going to lose. Barring any significant injuries, which is always a possibility, the Los Angeles Lakers are best-suited for a championship-run once the year resumes. They are not going to lose the first seed in the Western Conference in eight games and should wind up representing the West in the NBA Finals.

Right now, the Lakers have the joint-best title odds with the Milwaukee Bucks at +250, with the Los Angeles Clippers right behind at +333.

It won’t be an easy path to win the championship and we certainly should not take any of the Lakers’ foes for granted, but the Lakers have some key things in their arsenal that make them the favorite.

We know the big advantages that have been touted already, such as having the most experienced player in the league in LeBron James as well as the best superstar duo with Anthony Davis.

However, there are some overlooked advantages that are not getting as talked about, at least not right now, that will lead to the Lakers winning championship number 17. When the season is over, we will look back at these three things as the reason why the playoffs ultimately went in the Lakers’ favor.
